Signing In
FreeMix uses AT Protocol authentication (OAuth). It’s quick and works with any AT Protocol account.
How to Sign In
Section titled “How to Sign In”- Click Sign In on the FreeMix app.
- Enter your handle — for example,
yourname.bsky.socialoryourname.freemix.fm. - You’ll be redirected to authorize FreeMix with your account provider.
- Approve the authorization, and you’re in.
Your session persists across visits — you won’t need to sign in every time.
First Time Signing In
Section titled “First Time Signing In”If you sign in with an existing AT Protocol account (like a Bluesky account), FreeMix creates a profile for you using your display name, avatar, and bio as defaults. You can customize your FreeMix profile at any time — changes on FreeMix won’t affect your other account, and vice versa.
If you created a FreeMix account at pds.freemix.fm, you’ll set up your profile during onboarding.
Alpha Access
Section titled “Alpha Access”During the alpha period, you need an invite code to access FreeMix. If you have one:
- Go to
app.freemix.fm/gate - Enter your invite code
- Once validated, you’ll be directed to sign in or create an account
